What is Lamma Fun Day?
Lamma Fun Day is a FREE music and arts beach festival on Lamma Island. Established in 2000, the festival raises money for Child Welfare Scheme Hong Kong (CWSHK) projects in Nepal. The family-friendly event is open to all ages - there's sure to be something for everyone!
What is CWS HK?

Child Welfare Scheme Hong Kong (CWSHK) is a registed charity whose network of volunteers in Hong Kong raise money for projects supporting and empowering disadvantaged and vulnerable children, young people, and women in Nepal. CWS works closely with local Nepalese organisations including Right4Children to enable individuals and communities to create a brighter future for themselves.
When is the next Lamma Fun Day?
The next Lamma Fun Day takes place on Saturday 14th November, 2026. See you there!
Where is the festival held?
The event takes place on and around Tai Wan To Beach on Lamma Island, commonly known as Power Station Beach as it is located next to Hong Kong Electric’s Lamma Power Station.
There are no cars on Lamma, but it’s an easy 15-20 minute walk from Yung Shue Wan Main Street. Look out for the Lamma Fun Day sign at LAC (above Candela restaurant) and turn right along Main Street, then left when you reach a crossroads. Then look out for the power station’s three chimneys as you go south.
After 10 minutes, you pass the Man Loon store on your left, then a tennis court. Keep going straight and over at the crossroads. Look out for Ah Por’s Tofu Fa stall on your right, then take the concrete path that forks right towards Tai Wan To Beach, Lamma Power Station, and Lamma Fun Day.
